I've just downloaded the latest version of skydemon and the magnetic track and heading just show ERR.
Is anybody else suffering this?

The initial version of 3.2.1 for Windows had an omission causing magnetic declination calculations not to work. A corrected version was posted soon after, just download it from the link below and install it, and the issue will be resolved.
